SE 56
Open to all Shaare Emeth 5th and 6th graders, this exciting program provides great social and Jewish activities every four to six weeks. Through SE 56, they are introduced to informal youth programming setting the stage for their “formal” NFTY experience to come. Coordinated by SE 56 advisor, Emily Thal, participants in all SE 56 events are guaranteed an amazing time! All SE 56 events will be held on Sundays, mostly immediately following Religious School

All of Shaare Emeth’s 7th and 8th graders are invited to be a part of our outstanding SEJYG program. SEJYG holds social programs approximately once every 5 weeks throughout the school year. SEJYGers also participate in NFTY-Missouri Valley Region’s JYG Chavurah each year. Favorite past programs include Skyzone, Dinner and a Movie and Ice Skating. We welcome 7th and 8th graders involvement in program ideas. All programs are planned and chaperoned by our SE JYG advisor, Staci Tons, with the help of parents, students and members of our Youth and Camp Committee. This year we are experimenting with our 8th grade programming and joining with United Hebrew, Temple Israel and CRC to provide city wide experiences 4 times before 8th graders are “rushed” into the high school program.

All 9th through 12th graders are invited to be a part of SETYG. All of SETYG’s outstanding programs are organized and led by the youth groupers with the guidance of Jodi Miller, Youth and Camp Director and Becky Lyle, SETYG Advisor.
In addition to being social and fun, SETYG’s more than monthly programs often touch on issues related to prayer, learning, social action and more! As a part of NFTY Missouri Valley, SETYGers participate in three to five regional chavurot each year. Chavurot are amazing experiences affording opportunities to make friends with fellow NFTYites from all over the Missouri Valley Region.
