Ways to Connect
Congregation Shaare Emeth, is committed to actively welcoming all and building a vibrant, inclusive congregational community. We seek to perform the mitzvot of ahavat ger (loving the stranger) and keruv (drawing near all who are far). Our Congregation serves a diverse population: men and women; interfaith and interracial couples; converts, those in the process of conversion and religious seekers; Jews of color; people of all sexual orientations; single adults and blended families; rich and poor; young and old and in-between.
We welcome you into our community! For more information, please contact Rosalie Stein, Executive Director, at rstein@shaare-emeth.org. Rosalie can be contacted by phone in the Temple office, 314-569-0010.
A world of opportunity exists by becoming an active member of one of our auxiliaries. Congregation Shaare Emeth features The Sisterhood which offers monthly programs of interest to Jewish women of all ages and hold several fundraisers throughout the year that support Congregation Shaare Emeth. The generosity of our WRJ made possible the creation of this website.
Our Brotherhood meets regularly at Congregation Shaare Emeth and sponsors functions throughout the year which feature leaders from our community, as well as noted scholars. These programs are open to the entire congregation. Brotherhood also contributes funds annually for the purchase of equipment and other building improvements. New members are always welcome.
