Our library has many wonderful books for children of all ages. One of these is "Letters from Rifke" by Karen Hesse. Rifka knows nothing about America when she flees from Russia with her family in 1919, but she dreams she will at last be safe in the new country. Hesse is a gifted writer who has truly given us a gift in this book for ages 10 to 14. Look for this and others by Karen Hesse in the Hyman A. Rubin Library and Learning Center.
The Library is open whenever the building is open, so feel free to come in and browse.
