some of which can be used throughout the U. S. Orders are placed on the 10th and 20th of each month, with pick up (usually) within 5 business days. We have Dierbergs, Shop n’ Save, Starbucks, Panera, AMC Theaters, iTunes and Whole Foods available in the Temple office all the time.

Rosalie Stein is our Executive Director. She comes from St. Louis. For the previous nine years she has served as the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Grand Rapids, Michigan. As part of her responsibilities, Rosalie had overall responsibility for the Federation's annual campaign, as well as creating and overseeing a new community endowment program. In addition, she created a marketing plan for the Federation and various promotional materials. Rosalie and husband, Bob, have two children, Jeffrey and Michael, both of whom are in college.

Ronnie Brockman is our Program Director. She has been with Shaare Emeth since 1979 as the youth group advisor, religious school teacher, volunteer in membership and fundraising projects. She joined our staff after fourteen years as the Regional Youth Director for the North American Federation of Temple Youth and became our Family Education Director. She has a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Missouri. She currently serves on the National Program Directors of Reform Judaism Board, as Membership Coordinator. Ronnie is married to Allen, has 2 children, Steven and Lisa, along with 2 grandchildren.

Cheri Winchell is the Director of Early Childhood Education at Shirlee Green Preschool. She first began teaching at Shirlee Green Preschool in 1997 where she taught in the Chaverim classroom for 13 years. Additionally, she taught the afternoon “Adventures” class for 10 years, and was the Program Director for the Afternoon Bonus Programs and Camp Micah for the last three years. Cheri attended the University of Kansas where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology in 1985. She has been married to her husband David since 1988, and they have two children, Allie (16) and Ben (13) ~ both graduates of Shirlee Green Preschool. |

Liessa Alperin leads our nationally accredited religious education program. A graduate of Wurzweiler School of Social Work , Liessa joined Shaare Emeth in 2004 with 10years of experience working in religious school settings. She brought with her an amazing portfolio of cutting edge ideas to lead Shaare Emeth’s religious education programming into the 21st century. Liessa is married to Mark. They have two children, Ellye and Micah. |

Jodi Miller is our Youth and Camp Director. She has been with Shaare Emeth since July, 2000, as family education assistant and unit director at Camp Emeth. In March 2005, she became full time Youth and Camp Director. She has a master’s degree in Community Development from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has recently become a graduate of Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. Jodi and husband, Jeff, are the proud parents of Elizabeth, Cody, Riley and Jordyn.

Vilma Phillips is our Accounting Manager and has been with Shaare Emeth since 2005. She has over thirty years of accounting experience. Vilma comes from the Philippines where she began her career in banking. She moved to New York and started working in an auditing firm and she then relocated to St. Louis, working in the same insurance firm for over twenty years. Vilma holds her B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. Vilma is married to John and have 2 adult children. |

Robert Colton is our Operations Director and brings to us many years of experience in hotel and hospitality management. He oversees our building and calendar, as well as makes sure all of our guests in the building are well taken care of. Robert received his degree in Restaurant and Hospitality from Southwest Missouri State.

Vera Emmons is our Marketing and Membership Retention Coordinator who oversees our in house and community publicity. She has a Masters degree in Library Science from the University of Illinois. She has volunteered at Shaare Emeth for years and is now an integral part of our staff.

Gloria Schwartz - Office Manager, Clergy Admin. - Gloria is married to Ron. She has two children, Michael Pearl (Melissa) and Melanie Goldstein (Barry), and a step son, Frank Schwartz. She has five grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, and Evan Goldstein (St. Louis), and Natalie and Serena Pearl (California). Gloria has worked at Shaare Emeth for 35 years. She graduated from U. City High School and attended University of Missouri for one year. Her mother, Tama Bushman, and sister, Wendy Wax (Sanford) are also members of Shaare Emeth. |

Stacy Jespersen - Office Administrative Assistant - Stacy is a native of St. Louis and married to Jon and they have four children, Samantha 13, Nick 11, Kaitlin 9, and Madison 7. Stacy has worn many hats while working at the Temple since 2001 from camp counselor to Administrative Asst. in the office. |

Tammy McNaughton - Religious School Admin. Assistant - Tammy came to us from the Jewish Community Center, where she was the Administrative Assistant for the Early Childhood Education and Jewish Life Departments. She has a Bachelor's degree is Social Studies Education from John Brown University. Tammy and her husband Tim live in St. Charles. They have one son together, Sylas and she has two step children, Sara and Drew. |

Gerry Weinman - Evening Receptionist - Gerry, a native of St. Louis, has been married to Stan for 40 years. They have two children, Stacy (Jon) and Jennifer. Gerry stays busy by being the proud grandmother of 4. When she isn’t answering the doors at Temple, you can find her with her family.
